The film is about a sheriff (Bud Spencer) of a small town in the American province. Despite persistent UFO sightings over a lake, he does not believe in aliens and the existence of UFOs. The lake is declared a military restricted area after the sightings by Captain Briggs (Raimund Harmstorf). The lock down is accompanied by misfunctions of machines and equipment, which are explained by the inhabitants of the city with the UFO sightings.
In the search for a missing boy, the sheriff finds this one along with an unknown boy, played by Cary Guffey, who introduces himself as H7-25. The boy also claims to have flown with a spaceship from a constellation near the Pegasus. The sheriff does not believe him and takes care of him, since the boy's parents are not findable. Through various events that are due to a device, which is called "photon cannon", the sheriff is convinced of the boy's story. With the photon cannon, H7-25 can set machines in motion, manipulate time and influence other objects. The sheriff then informs the military so that he should help the boy on the journey home. Captain Briggs is only interested in the photon gun. Now that the sheriff has handed the boy over to the military and notices that they treat him badly, he goes and beats the same. After some back and forth, as well as various beatings, the boy at the end of the film got permission from space even further on earth and staying with the sheriff.
