After a series of bad times with men, Sandy tries to kill himself. Waitress Libby rescues her and takes her to a ranch in the desert where she and some of her friends live. Grace (Jennifer Bishop), the leader of the gang, leads Sandy through her initiation and introduces her to her actual duties: to bring drugs across the Mexican border, to harass poor peasants, to take every man they want, and generally to make terror properly. Sandy quickly becomes unsure whether this is life for her, but it might be too late to come out.
